Welcome to our events sign-up area.  Here is where you can signup for Lifeguard classes that we are hosting.  Below is information about each class that will help you understand what the requirements are for the classes before you sign up.  For more detailed information or if our class times do not work with your schedule visit the American Red Cross website HERE.

  3. TAKE THE IN PERSON PORTION OF THE CLASS (2 days)

Full Lifeguard Class (American Red Cross)

Pre-Requisites
Age Must Be 15
Swimming Swim 300 yrds Continuous , not timed
Tread Water 2 Minutes Legs Only
Timed Event
  1. Swim 20 Yrds
  2. Surface Dive 7 – 10 ft
  3. Pick Up 10lb Brick
  4. Return to Start

The primary purpose of this course is to provide entry-level lifeguard
participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide professional-level care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden
illnesses until emergency medical services (EMS) personnel take over.
